War Mongrels - More Info and Actual Gameplay Footage.

Hello, my name is ColdBeer and as I promised, there is more news about Commandos like game War Mongrels. New gameplay footage has been released and also more additional information was provided about the game, so in this short video I will try to summarize everything.

The most notable feature of this game is that there are no sugarcoating. All atrocities of Holocaust are shown in bright daylight with all it's senseless brutal cruellty. The game will show you the scenes of mass murders, ethical cleansing and Nazi death camps.

Another very interesting choice is to make former Nazis as heroes, by showing the world that not every german who participated in the war was a bloodthirsty criminal. You can also play this game in co-op with your friend if you have one, meaning that in any given moment, even if you play alone, you are in control of at least 2 characters.

And keeping in mind that the game is in real time, sometimes it might be a real challenge to comunicate with a friend and not to die stupid death. For this they implemented a planning mode, where you can, obviously, plan your future actions. Also one of the protagonists is voiced by Doug Cockle, mostly known to us from The Witcher games as the voice of Geralt himself.

And for me, a native Lithuanian living Vilnius, this place of a provided gameplay was a bit of a surprise: Yeah, my country was occupied by Soviets, then occupied by Nazis and a few years later - by Soviets again - we have a very rich history of World War 2 occupations here.
