R.I.P. Chadwick Boseman

Many of you asked me to make a video. Explain what happened, so what I'm going to do is donate the proceeds from this YouTube video to a cancer charity like f cancer, I don't have any kind of fundraiser or anything special like that.

Just a really sudden really sad announcement that they made him have passed away from cancer so if you yourself or know someone who is suffering from something similar and wants to do that, just donate to a charity of your choice, but if 'you're not sure what happened you're still in shock the official twitter account of chadwick boseman through his family announced last night that he had passed away after a long battle over the last four years with stage four cancer apparently he had been keeping his diagnosis a secret from the public, but he had been making all these movies for so long, this is his imdb page for the last four years, while he knew that he had been suffering from cancer going through treatments between films, that is, while working in captain america civil.

War movie while working on black panther avengers infinity war and avengers end game between all those movies, he was suffering from cancer going through crazy surgeries without anyone knowing how much he endured and how hard it was, in 2014 he was first announced on stage by Marvel as a black panther for captain america's civil war that the movie did not.

It will happen until 2016, obviously, but during 2016 is when he discovered that he had stage three cancer and then for the next four years he proceeded to go through a series of treatments, a lot of really tough surgeries while they were working on the black panther movie, so it was happening while he was going through all of this and then obviously we only had avengers infinity war and avengers end game and although it looked really good during those movies apparently things had gotten worse recently this year so earlier this year I had posted a video of himself looking very skinny, sick people were afraid they didn't know what was going on, everyone was going crazy now it's happening at that time so of course Kevin Feige marvels.

Some of the important people who knew him, his friends and family, have issued statements. This is what Kevin Feige said. He says that Chadwick's death is absolutely devastating. our dear friend every time he went on set he radiated charisma and joy and every time he appeared on screen he created something truly indelible, he embodied many amazing people in his work and no one was better at bringing great men to life he was as smart, kind, powerful and strong as anyone he portrayed now takes his place alongside them as an icon for ages.

The Marvel Studios family deeply mourns your loss and we are grieving with your family tonight. I had to go through something similar with my family, it is never easy when something like this happens, especially to see someone suffer for something like that for so long because it is not something fast, it takes a long time, it is actually a video clip of him talking.

Working with young children of stage 3 cancer patients before the black panther movie came out and what it meant to him while he himself suffered from stage 3 cancer throughout our filming I was communicating with them knowing they were both terminal and what they told me is and their parents said they're just trying to hold on until this movie comes out and to a certain extent you hear them say that and you're like wow that's like I had to get up and I had to get up and go to the gym I have to get up and go to work, you know, I have to learn these lines, I have to work on this accident, you know, seeing how dedicated all my co-stars are and knowing that that will be something meaningful to them, but it is for a to some degree is a humbling experience because you're like that this can't mean much to them, you know, but seeing how the world has taken us by seeing what the movement is like, how it's taking on a life of its own, I realized that they anticipated something great and now I think about a child and you just know uh waiting for Christmas to come waiting for my birthday to come waiting for a toy that was going to be that I was going to have the opportunity to experience or a video game that I made live my life waiting for those moments and thus brought me back to the mind of being a kid just to experience those two little kids, um anticipation of this movie and when i found out yes it means a lot so listen to it.

Talk about that what it meant to you. I just have to imagine how hard he was fighting for himself and those little kids while all this was going on, so for those of you wondering yes, Marvel didn't know about his diagnosis when they were making all those movies, I would have.

It's been impossible for him to keep it from everyone and the reason he didn't make it public is probably just because he didn't want to be pigeonholed normally when someone announces something like that, that's the only way he's portrayed in the media and probably he didn't want to overshadow the weight of what he was doing or color people's perception of him and think of everyone little kids who idealized the black panther probably didn't want to take that away from them.

Many of you are still in shock and asking all kinds of questions about upcoming Marvel movies Black Panther 2 Avengers 5 How are you going to honor your memory without doing something nasty in those upcoming movies? I think it's a little gross just immediately start thinking about what's going to happen with Black Panther 2 right now, obviously the world has to cry, we have to process this, you can't start thinking about all those movies right away, but Normally what Disney and Marvel do when someone passes away like that, they have some way of commemorating it in upcoming movies, for example when Stan Lee passed away, you probably remember they had this special Marvel movie intro with all of their cameos instead of the ones.

Normal Marvel characters. the intro when i posted this video ryan coogler hasn't issued any kind of statement about his passing or any kind of memorial, but he doesn't actually have social media accounts so it will probably be a while before he says anything, he was very close to him, so like everyone else, he's probably still in shock right now trying to process what just happened.
