Spellforce 3: Fallen God is a NEW Standalone RTS-RPG!.

Hello, my name is ColdBeer and I have great news for strategy and RPG fans - Spellforce 3 expansion Fallen God will be released on November 3rd and it will be a completely stand alone game, meaning that you can not only play the game without original game, bet also you don’t need to be familiar with the story of SpellForce 3 or with Soul Harvest expansion to jump right in.

That is a great decision, not forcing anyone to buy previous games if you like this one. And, let’s be honest, what you see on screen now, looks pretty much badass. Here you will control a nomadic tribe of trolls that has just one goal: stay alive. Yep.

That. Plagued by vicious poachers for your precious tusks and weakened by disease, hope is almost lost - until an enigmatic Elven stranger offers you, the young chieftain Akrog, a path to salvation: you must resurrect a fallen god. Yeah, those things always end well - resurrecting ancient gods, reviving ancient evil, pledging your life to cthulhu and so on - that is always a great decision.

Yeah, What could go wrong? And for those who don’t what Spellforce is, I should probably explain that it combines RTS and RPG gameplay where you control your heroes and also you have a lot of missions like in Warcraft 3 - actually the RTS part is straight rip-off from Blizzard’s games, but it also has a lot of own charm and when you play Spellforce you won’t think much about Warcraft, I promise you.

So, in Fallen God you will get a single player campaign that will take about 15 hours of your time. And you can also customize your heroes: combine skill trees and abilities to create the perfect character for your strategy. Also multiplayer is available with 6 factions: Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Dark Elves and Trolls, each featuring two unique heroes that complement individual play styles.

All that sounds amazing, although 15 hours of campaign is a bit low, but maybe it’s the time when developers decided to make quality instead of quantity. You know, I hope there will not be a mission where you have to survive for 20 minutes or escort a caravan to safety.

You know that generic stuff that almost killed the RTS genre in general, because no one wants to play the same mission just in different games over and over and over again. And now it’s the time for you like this video and also consider subscribing, because this is the gaming channel you were always looking for.
