Twitch Fans Find The Perfect Replacement For Ninja.

Okay, here's a hard-hitting question for you: Could Tyler "Ninja" Blevins ever be replaced? If you ask the fans who followed him to Mixer after he left Twitch in August, the answer would be a resounding No. Still, that hasn't stopped a few obsessives from trying to fill the Ninja-sized hole in their hearts...by tracking down a Ninja lookalike on Twitch.

"WOW." You heard that right. Meet xDORITOSAURUSx. He's a Twitch streamer who spends a good amount of time playing Rocket League. He's not a big-time celebrity streamer by any means, but he seems like a nice enough, well-mannered guy. Heck, he even quotes liberally from the movie Cars, writing on his Twitch page: "You have more talent in one lug nut than a lot of cars have in their whole body.

But you're stupid." He's not out there stirring up controversy or getting himself banned from Twitch. He logs on, plays for whoever wants to watch, and logs off. And, as you've no doubt noticed, he also bears a striking resemblance to Ninja, who of course no longer streams on Twitch.

Apparently, that resemblance hasn't gone unnoticed by some Ninja fans and it isn't lost on Doritosaurus, either. He totally gets it! During a recent stream, he addressed the topic in response to a question asked in chat: "I can't go anywhere. At the grocery store, people are like, 'has anyone ever told you…' And I already know what's coming: 'you look like Ninja, bro.'" They aren't wrong, either.

Doritosaurus and Ninja do look a lot alike, and Doritosaurus clearly likes to color his hair… just like a certain other gamer we know. “Ha.” Appearances aside, the two gamers couldn't be any more different. For one thing, Doritosaurus doesn't seem particularly keen on Fortnite, while Ninja might be the game's most famous player.

And here's something else worth noting: Doritosaurus doesn't seem all that interested in the spotlight, despite the mild bit of media attention he's getting right now. He doesn't have a bio filled out on Twitch, he doesn't have any social media accounts tied to his Twitch presence, and he hasn't posted his real name anywhere yet.

As of the making of this video, he has just under 300 followers on Twitch... a number that's not at all indicative of someone who makes a living streaming video games. So yeah: Right now, Doritosaurus streams to a small, close-knit community of viewers, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

He's just not the "replacement Ninja" that some fans are apparently pining for… nor does he need to be. If you're desperately missing Ninja on Twitch, watching a lookalike do the Pon Pon dance is clearly not the answer, okay? "Man he's gonna sue me if I Pon Pon." Honestly, it's a little bit like dating someone who looks just like your ex… and then asking them to behave just like your ex, too.

After all, it's not like Ninja buckled himself into a spaceship and blasted off to some faraway alien dimension. You can easily reach his stream by visiting the Mixer website… and it even exists on the same Internet as Twitch, just to make it all extra-easy for you.

Pro tip: Opening two windows side by side enables you to simultaneously watch Ninja on Mixer and some other blue-haired gamer on Twitch. What we're saying is: Everything is going to be okay. And since we have you here, we'll go ahead and give you an update on Ninja.

Long story short: He's doing great. According to his official Mixer page, he currently has over 2 million followers... and it looks like Mixer's "free subscriptions" promo is still running if you want to give it a whirl. Other than that, Ninja is doing what he's always done: playing tons of Fortnite, making it all look super-easy, and doing his best to entertain anyone who decides to tune in and watch.
