CAN I BEAT this BUSTED BUNNY?! Cinderace is TOO GOOD!

What is going on Youtube. It's your boy Dan, aka "aDrive". I brought you guys our WBE pregame post conference here for Week 9 of WBE. We're taking on Sierra dawn in the Toronto Maple Mews, in this epic Week 9 showdown. We're really in the cusp of the playoffs here and if I'm not mistaken, I think if we win one more game, we're probably in a pretty good shape here to make the playoffs.

I'm actually gonna peek right now. Yeah. It's looking like if we win one more game, we'll actually clinch playoffs. If we lose, if we lose two more games, it's gonna be a little closer, but I think we're actually in really good shape to make playoffs here at this point in time, but we got to pick up a W.

For those who don't know, I'm actually in the middle of moving right now. In fact, I'm actually sleeping at my other house. I'm not even in this house anymore. I'm just here to battle and do one final stream probably. With that said, I've been so busy and actually, this is the first week, I take a lot of pride in the WBE in the sense that I build my own teams and I train up my own teams.

I actually you know have people help me, but I generally do all that myself. This week, there's an exception. My buddy Cross helped me out. He really puts together the brunt of this team for me, so big shoutouts to Cross and big shotouts to Zoey for help me training the team.

I sent the 'Mons to her, she EV'd them up and got them all setup for me. Like I said, I normally do this myself and I take a lot of pride that I play the game that way, but this week has just been so hectic, dude. Like I, I have been so swamped, but we're going to talk about the team here.

What we're gonna do. This is actually the first week in this season that I did not do any practice matches as well. I'm just giving you guys the full honest kind of heads up there. Let's talk about Sierra's team, right? 'Cause Sierra has had a decent show in this season.

She's 3-5. She's actually played pretty well. All things considered and this is her first time kind of playing this, so you know, I wish I had more time to prepare but this is how it is. Let's talk about our team. If you guys enjoy this video, be sure to like the video and of course, subscribe if you guys are new.

Obviously, we just had a few battles left. Two more weeks left in this season. She's got G-Max Cinderace. She's obviously a massive threat, right? It's got that Superpower ball thing. It doesn't change the weather which is good, but because of Libero, it could change its typing.

So, you have to be very mindful of what type it's gonna be. She also got Clefairy which is a premier redirect Pokemon. Clefairy can wiggle its little finger and redirect much like our Togekiss can. But, it also has a really cool move in After You or in After Me, I think it is which allows you to under Trick Room scenario like let's say I setup a Trick Room, Clefairy's so slow, so it can actually have its ally attack after Clefairy.

Since Clefairy's so slow, really good combination there. Dracozolt is the next Pokemon. Obviously, Dracozolt with Hustle, Life Orb or just Hustle in general, deals so much damage with these Electric-type moves. Talonflame, another Fire-type, but Cinderace doesn't really count as a Fire-type because of what it does.

Talonflame of course, has that priority Tailwind. Otherwise, just hits incredibly hard with those Fire-type moves. Bisharp, Dark and Steel-type Pokemon. Very powerful obviously. Blastoise, another threat. Obviously we know what does. It could Shell Smash and deal some massive damage.

Ditto, of course known for transforming, but it has to transform directly across from it. Trevenant, which is her Trick Room setter. Trevenant, of course Grass and Ghost. Very difficult to deal with this match tonight. I do think that there's a chance that Trevenant comes as a counter Trick Room Pokemon.

It's very good against my Bronzong. And, it can deal some decent damage to some of my Trick Room threats. But, it also has kind of a weird matchup against Togekiss and the Hail-core and Turtonator, right? So, things to keep in mind there. Ferroseed, a very bulky Grass and Steel-type Pokemon of course.

Carrying Eviolite most likely. Krokorok which can have Intimidate or Moxie. I don't anticipate too many issues with Krokorok. Then, Weezing. A lot of people forget that Weezing actually gets Neutralizing Gas in this game. Not the Galarian one, just the regular Weezing.

It does have Neutralizing Gas, so some things to note there. In terms of the six, I think she's gonna bring Clefairy, Dracozolt, Cinderace, I feel like are definitely brings. I think Trevenant has to come as a counter Trick Room Pokemon. I really see Blastoise potentially being a threat.

I could also see Weezing coming, 'cause Weezing does get things like Heat Wave and stuff that can deal some pretty good damage to our kind of Hail-core and stuff like that. Also, it gets rid of Slush Rush on Sandslash and things like that, so some of our Pokemon really rely on their abilities.

Others do not, so things to make note of. If I see Weezing on team preview, we just have to be really smart about how we play around it because you know, one wrong switch, we make a, we assume our abilities are gonna work and all of a sudden, they don't.

That could be very problematic. Let's talk about what we're gonna bring and why I'm gonna bring it and everything in between. We're gonna kick things off here with Togekiss. Togekiss is rocking the Babiri Berry. It's got Dazzling Gleam, Thunder Wave actually.

Follow Me, Protect. I love having Protect on the defensive variant. This is a very, very bulky Togekiss by the way. Physically defensive. It's really designed to take on the Cinderace, right. It can live on Max Steelspike, obviously tank that, 'cause the Babiri Berry kind of force a second attack which could be really useful for us so, really designed to kind of take on that Cinderace.

It's also there to kind of slow some things down. It could take a hit from the Bisharp, of course. And, you know, obviously redirect those attacks away allowing me to potentially set Trick Room or whatever it may be. Then, we've got our G-Max Blastoise here, Shellshock.

This is a unique set that my man, Cross came up with. I did tweak it a little bit, but this is an Aguav Berry set. It's designed to basically take specific hits from Cinderace, so pop that Aguav Berry. It does have the White Herb this time. Water Spout, Blizzard, Dark Pulse.

I think if I can get a Shell Smash out, this thing can be incredibly powerful against Sierra's team. Just because when I look at her team, there's not really a ton that wants to switch in to Blastoise. Just in general like it's a you know, going for Max Cannonade can deal a lot of damage That residual chip is gonna be huge.

I did throw Dark Pulse on there. I think the original build had Fake Out, but I decided to rock Dark Pulse 'cause it allows him to hit the, specifically the opponents' Blastoise a little bit better. One of the cool things about this team is that we're actually bringing Lightning Rod Rhyperior, so the logic here is Togekiss, Blastoise is a great lead.

It's a really good matchup against most things, especially with spread damage, Water Spout after you Shell Smash, but Rhyperior here has the Lightning Rod, so in the instance of that Dracozolt Dynamaxing turn one, trying to take on the Blastoise or Togekiss, we can switch in, switch out the Togekiss, switch in to Rhyperior.

Absorb that Lightning Rod that might be headed towards Blastoise. Then, really render that Dracozolt somewhat useless, right? It can still have some other moves like Max Quake, Max Steelspike, Max Wyrmwind and so on and so forth, but the reality of it is if Blastoise is sitting in there, and it's sitting at plus one or whatever it may be.

You know, Dracozolt isn't dealing nearly as much damage and of course, we'll be able to deal some serious spread damage ourselves with just that, so it's looking pretty strong there with the Blastoise, of course. We've got Sandslash coming. There's a really unique setup here where we kind of lead Sandslash plus Ninetales and actually go for Max Ooze to boost the Special Attack of Ninetales.

Some cool stuff there. We've got the Assault Vest and that's primarily a way for us to deal with that Blastoise, 'cause my opponent's Blastoise can be a ltittle bit tricky for us to deal with, so we really want to be prepared for that. Otherwise, Earthquake, Iron Head, and then Triple Axel.

Triple Axel plus Hail is a way to knock out the Talonflame and we have that as an option too, but primarily, like I said Max Ooze is a really cool strategy. We've got Emma Frost or Ninetales which again, goes hand in hand with Sandslash setting up that that Hail, the Hail's really nice too because there are some instances where you know, Blastoise plus Ninetales can do a lot of damage with Blizzards.

We also got the Aurora Veil which could really be good for late game kind of scenario. Then, we've got the Freeze Dry there which is again for Blastoise, and then last but most certainly not the least, is going to be our Bronzong. Bronzong's got that Occa Berry.

That's gonna allow us to take those Fire moves a little bit better. We've got Levitate so I can kind of dodge the Rhyperior's Earthquakes and Bulldoze is there to activate that Weakness Policy on that Rhyperior. We obviously can't, we have to hit it a spread move because of the threat of Clefairy going for Follow Me, so some cool stuff there.

Then, Trick Room, Protect, pretty straightforward stuff there for Bronzong who very rarely carries Protect but this week we have it. I've got Psychic on there as well for the Weezing just because I felt like it was really imperative that we had some way to kind of deal with that.

There was a lot of ways we could have gone, I thought Turtonator really had a decent matchup with this one especially with Trick Room, but you know, she does have a pretty solid team against Trick Room, so in some regards, right, in some ways, Turtonator kind of runs through, other ways it doesn't She's gonna have to prepare for Turtonator no matter what.

'Cause it does have a really good matchup, but I think Rhyperion just has an incredible matchup, right? When you look at Dracozolt, Talonflame, Cinderace, and Bisharp. Rhyperior just absolutely wrecks them which is why I feel like she almost has to bring Blastoise plus Trevenant.

But, we'll see what happens and that's you know, that's where Rhyperior's attacks come in handy, right? Having Earthquake, some spread damage there and things of that nature. You know, some pretty cool stuff. I'm actually gonna run some kind of my own.

I have a few minutes before the battle starts, so I may make some small tweaks before the actual battle takes place, but I'm feeling that this is gonna be my team to rock with, so hopefully things will go well for us. Obviously like I said, things are just gonna get crazy as I'm in the middle of a move.

So, thank you guys for your patience in that scenario. That's gonna do that guys. Thank you guys so much for watching our team builder. I appreciate the support this week. Hit that Like button.
