Best Gaming Monitor Ever BenQ EX2780Q Review | 1440P, 144Hz Gaming Monitor for PS5 & Xbox Series X.

He contacted about a month ago and sent me his new 27 inch 144 hertz gaming monitor. This is the ex-2780 now, as always, with all my videos. I always approach them from a consumer from a gamer's perspective, as someone who would go in and buy this monitor is one thing worth its weight in gold.

The price on their website is currently at 449, but when you go to Amazon and the best buy, you usually pay between 500 and 600, so anywhere in that range I think 449 is a solid price for this monitor, now. Everyone has a different preference when it comes to monitor design and the features that come with them.

My preferences you probably don't know as this is my first time doing this my preference is the very slim bezels and when you take this monitor out of the box the first thing you notice is this huge bar with copper finish on the side bottom of the monitor, every two bezel around it looks pretty thin, but when it gets to that bottom it's definitely a chunky guy, the reason why r this is because it comes built-in with a set of speakers now for me personally when I buy gaming monitors and when I play on the PC, and that is the main use for gaming and video editing, I usually listen to all my audio through a headphone through a mixer and that's usually when it comes to speakers I don't really have any connected to my system for those people who want to have a speaker system connected and may not have the desk space for it.

I can understand how this might appeal to you, but for me personally this is simply not something I would be looking for when buying a monitor now, this monitor also comes with a remote that you can use to change the inputs as well as the volume, essentially as a small television on your desk, however there is a little knob in the lower left corner of the monitor just below and it can scroll a bit if it's there, you don't need to use the remote, you can just change the volume and it works quite well now, the speakers themselves again.

I don't really expect much quality when it comes to built-in monitor speakers, these aren't bad, they're nothing to write home about, they sound good in most scenarios. I played games on this monitor and also watched things like netflix or watch the movie and it's or kay, I don't know if I would have swapped the slim bezel design for the internal speakers, especially when we're talking, you know five hundred bucks now it's a free sync monitor and i have to say that the color depth of this image is amazing i think the monitor itself is great and a large part of that is due to the hdri technology that benq is now putting in their monitors, what is hdri benq describes this as intelligent adaptive technology that gives the HDR monitor super powers this artificial intelligence basically reacts to brightness settings and maximum contrast that are done automatically and the way that it does that is that there is a little sensor at the bottom of the monitor that basically reacts to changes in light, so if you're sitting by a window and as the day tonight it will automatically adjust the picture to give you the absolute best quality and all that fancy side talk like it looks cool.

I have used other monitors in the past. I have another monitor setting right next to it. It's a bit bigger monitor, but again, I think the benq has a better picture than the lg in front of me, I use the lg because it's bigger, but this for ag aming monitor I think it would blow it out of the water it has two hdmi ports one display port and one usb type-c port also now i have seen this concern arise that there are not really many ports, especially for the price you are getting for me personally not a big deal, i use the display port it would be nice to see another display port too just to give you more options, especially we are talking about you know six seven hundred dollars with all taxes, it is quite an expensive monitor, especially for 27 inches, I have seen larger monitors maybe there are not as many features with the speakers, but I have also seen that they have adjustable stands, which is another problem that this monitor has is the fact that the stand, while it looks sharp, looks neat if you're one of those people who use stands, you can't adjust the height of this one, you can adjust the tilt just a little bit, but there's really not much customization there and it is feels like a missed opportunity.

I'm going to get an arm support myself here. soon for all my monitors to clear some of that desktop space now in terms of diving into specs, i'm not going to go through all the different specs, you guys can literally go to the link below if i want to read about native contrast and viewing angle the response time five milliseconds graded gray resolution of 2560 by 1440 has a dynamic 10-bit color contrast ratio of 20 million at a ppi is 109 again, you can go through all that stuff at the end of the day this is definitely one of the best monitors that I have seen in the market at least the ones that I have used bought or tested in different stores, the biggest problem with this monitor that I think many people will agree on is that its price has a great image, but I think the price is going up because it has the built-in speakers, the multimedia functionality, but at the end of the day for pure and raw gaming I don't think a lot of people are going to be buying that that multimedia experience and I think if this monitor was maybe a pair hundreds of dollars cheaper i would like to see it hit that 400 mark maybe even a little lower if i could make it as cyber monday or black friday its a great picture monitor for gaming but just breaking down the raw deal a 27 inch monitor even though it looks great and again for me personally it is one of the best images I have seen on any of my monitors, I don't know if I would pay the 600 to pick this up if I saw it in a store if i saw it on a shelf or if i had to order it online and that's where i am with it guys i don't believe in doing 12-15 minute reviews on tech y'all want to know exactly how i feel and exactly what the cost is what this thing offers that other things don't and when it comes to tech reviews I just want to give you my true and honest opinion.

I took some time with this one, I think they wanted the video a little faster than I did uh, but I really wanted to make sure I spent a lot of time with it I tried and gave them my honest feedback personally, if this were 400 I would be over the moon.

Super happy about it and would probably pick it up ever since I got into PC gaming a long time ago I have always heard that benq monitors were the best gaming monitors on the market so when they came up and they are like me I want to send you this, we want Check it out, be honest, and let your people know this exists.
