Fallout TV Series Teaser and Info Revealed - IGN Now.

Fallout is getting a TV show! You heard right, all you Pip-Boys and Girls out there. A new Fallout TV series is coming from Amazon Studios. They dropped the bomb in traditional Fallout's style when Amazon tweeted a teaser of an old fashioned TV set that revealed the show will be coming from Kilter Films and Bethesda Game Studios.

The sound of an old timey jingle can be heard along with a vault door closing shut, And at the end, we even hear a scream. Yeah, you know, we're just as excited for this show as that person is. Although I'm pretty sure they were probably screaming from all of the atomic bombs going off around the US, turning the country into a radioactive wasteland.

Because as we all know, Fallout takes place in a world that has gone through a nuclear war, and players take control of a survivor who emerges from a Fallout shelter "vault" to explore the post-apocalyptic world. Now, no plot or character details were revealed just yet, so we're left to wonder if the show will adapt the story of a particular game or create a brand new story set in Fallout's world.

Fallout 1 through 3 follows someone born within the vault system. Fallout 4 starts on the day the nukes go off and then flashes forward a couple hundred years to the post apocalypse. And in New Vegas, well, you play a delivery person who gets immediately shot in the face.

The face. Yeah. Any of these would make a great formula for a TV show. And honestly, the lore of Fallout is so damn dense at this particular point. You could pretty much set any type of show you want within the Fallout universe and it probably would make sense.

Now, as far as what else we do know about the show, Variety reports that Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy will serve as producers. Now, the duo said in a statement, quote, Yep, that's right, guys. Bethesda. The people behind the game will be involved with the development of the show and series director Todd Howard will serve as executive producer.

Howard said in a statement of his very own quote, "Over the last decade. We looked at many ways to bring follow to the screen, but it was clear from the moment I first spoke with Jonah and Lisa a few years ago, that they and the team at Kilter were the ones to do it right." Yes.

It's so exciting, guys. So what do you think about this Fallout TV show? What do you want to see in a Fallout TV show? Sound off in the comment section down below. Thanks for watching!
