Best Upcoming PS5 Games 2020

At number 7, we have Hitman 3. The third addition to hitman will be very similar to its predecessors, obviously, with the same stealthy game mechanics and third person perspective, and controlling Agent 47... of course That being said, there have been a few added aspects, asides from the significant bump in graphics...

Notably 6 more locations around the world that you, as a player, can travel to, Dubai being one of them and another location is Dartmoor, England. The newest addition has also bought in VR capabilities that will function with PS5’s VR headset... though how this would work is unknown, presumably, they’d change the VR addition to first person, but i’m not sure...

Regardless, I can NOT wait to play this game! At the number 6 spot we have an interesting multiplayer game, Outriders. This is a new third-person shooter slash RPG game is developed by ‘People Can Fly’ and published by Square Enix Outriders follows the perspective of a custom character that you create, and there are 4 different classes to choose from, The first being Trickster which manipulates time, the second is pyromancer which manipulates fire, the third is called devastator which releases seismic attacks...

So presumably causes mini earthquakes, and then there’s the technomancer which affects technology somehow, These skills are upgradable through a skill tree From there you continue down the narrative of a galactic soldier that is trying to colonise a planet called Enoch but much of the human race has been corrupted by a magical-type force and it’s your job to fix it.

Kinda gives a Destiny vibe, but seems like it could be even better. The number 5 spot goes to Starfield. Starfield is a first-person, single player RPG developed by Bethesda Studios that was announced at the 2018 E3 conference. And in usual Bethesda style, there is a hell of a gap between the game’s announcement and final release because we likely won’t be seeing Starfield until sometime 2021 or even later perhaps.

The game is quite obviously set in space, and is an open world, how that will work... I have no idea, perhaps a little like No Man's Sky, but... better. The idea of an open world space game developed by Bethesda does excite me massively, especially after hearing one of the devs say it is comparable to a space themed Skyrim.

And I can NOT wait to see how the game actually looks and plays on the new PS5 At number 4 we have Far Cry 6. The Far Cry series has been a longstanding classic for all platforms and has continued to bless us with gripping stories and enjoyable gameplay.

Far Cry 6 will take place in the Carribean on a fictional island named Yara and you will follow the story of a Guerilla fighter who is trying to overthrow the dictator who rules the island. The dictator is the main enemy throughout the story and is portrayed by Giancarlo Esposita, you know...

Gus from Breaking Bad. If that isn’t compelling enough then I don’t know what is But it goes without saying that it is the largest open world game in the Far Cry series and with the tropical setting that it takes place in, on the PS5, it’s bound to blow your mind.

At number 3 is perhaps one of the most exciting single player, open-world games, Horizon Forbidden West. The sequel to Zero Dawn will follow on from its previous footsteps as the main protagonist, Aloy. The standard game mechanics still apply, with Aloy hunting the machine-dinosaur hybrids but this time round she is trying to prevent a catastrophic cataclysm from destroying the world.

The setting is located around America in various states where you can explore a very vast range of scenery including snowy mountains, desserts, rich jungles, forests, and best of all abandoned cities... I don’t know how accurate the cities will be to the actual US cities but it would definitely be interesting if we get to explore an accurate representation of apocalyptic San Francisco.

Oh, and the graphics on this game will quite literally be enough to make a person cry with up to 8K and 60 frames per second on the PS5, not to mention the new ray tracing technology... we’re in for some serious eye candy! In the number 9 spot we have the new Spiderman Miles Morales.

Now this was a shock to the Playstation users because we didn’t expect to see a new spiderman game for a while considering the last release wasn’t long ago. Though whether this is to be released as a new game or a DLC for the current game is unknown, but given the timeframe they have had to make a game this size, it is more likely that it will just be a DLC.

Definitely not complaining about it by the way, frankly this release is absolutely great and I will definitely be playing it on the big screen. The narrative follows the story of Miles Morales, spiderman’s alter ego and your goal is to stop a war between an energy company and a high tech criminal organisation and you do that by swinging around New York fighting bad guys.

It is definitely gonna be interesting to see just how the gameplay will be playing as Miles, I mean will we have a different fighting style, new scalable skillsets or even a whole host of new abilities. The number 1 spot goes to Call of Duty Cold War, for those of you that play Call of Duty: Warzone then you’ll know just how good this game looks.

Treyarch’s latest game is centred around the cold war events that took place during the mid 20th century, though it should really go without saying that the game will dramatize aspects for entertainment so don’t use it as a guide to history. The campaign is actually a direct follow on from the first Black Ops campaign with familiar characters such as Woods, Mason, and Hudson...

Not to mention the addition of the real president at the time, Ronald Raegan. But what makes this game so exciting is the fact that it will include so much more than any other Call of Duty game with both Zombies and a battle-royale gamemode similar to warzone.

The only thing that bothers me is that there will be no gunsmith ability like the one in Modern Warfare... I got really used to it and I honestly love it. Regardless, when the game does release in November, you can expect one hell of a time because it is probably one of, if not the most hyped Call of Dutys of all time.
