Roshi's Dragon Ball Fighterz GAMEPLAY REVEALED !!! // Character WITHOUT Super Dash!?.

Greetings, I'm Cain from Game Oxygen with a new short video of Dragon Ball FighterZ, this time talking about some VERY surprising details that were discovered about the gameplay of Muten Roshi, the next confirmed DLC character for the game. Not only with what will his skills and Super movements be, but with a UNIQUE mechanic in the game that this character will have! But before anything else remember, if you want to see more Dragon Ball FighterZ content and support this channel, don't forget to like this video and share it, that would help me a lot ...

The long-awaited Master Roshi will soon arrive in Dragon Ball FighterZ as the third DLC character from Season 3, and seemingly shaping up to be one of the more UNIQUE members of this roster. Roshi's gameplay details appeared online today, directly translated from the upcoming V-Jump magazine in Japan.

And reveals A LOT of what the hermit will be able to do for specials and supers, including the controversial SUPER fact, that apparently, he will be the ONLY character in the game that doesn't feature a Super Dash. This classic Dragon Ball character will not be able to use Super Dash to approach the enemy, but instead, this function will be replaced by a new mechanic that will allow him to perform super jumps.

I mean, this makes sense, since according to the canonical abilities of the Dragon Ball series, Master Roshi NEVER learned to fly like the rest of the Z Warriors, so in a way it is logical that Bandai Namco and Arc System Works altered certain mechanics of the game to respect this.

In fact, it would not be the first change of style, since Videl also lacks the reflection option that the rest of the cast has and, instead, has a mechanic to dodge the opponent's attacks, although that certainly does not help it much in the eyes of most players, who consider it one of The worst characters on the roster.By the way, I'm the only one who always bothered that Videl learned to fly and Roshi, being the great teacher in the series, right? But leaving aside the question of Super Dash, Roshi will have several techniques and VERY interesting Super that will help him balance his gameplay. On the one hand, Roshi will have access to Bankoku Bikkuri Sho or Surprise Thunder, which will hit a large part of the screen and it will be impossible to block in the air.

This will help keep his lead on the ground, due to his lack of flight, although we'll have to see him in action first. He also appears to have a sort of command grip called Yoiko Minmin Ken or Sleep, Sleepy Kid, which will temporarily hypnotize the enemy if try to block it.

As for his Super movements, the trailer already showed us his Mafuuba, or Wave of Malignant Containment, which according to the new info, will actually "seal" the affected character and will force the rival to change to another new character if he connects, which will certainly have technical applications within this 3 vs 3 match.

Roshi's second super is titled 'Muten Roshi, the world's number 1' and uses his staff for a powerful attack and can finish off a Kamehameha by probably spending an additional gauge bar. And finally, for his level 3 Super Move, Roshi will perform the Maximum Performance Kamehameha that will force the old master to transform into his muscular appearance to launch a 100% powered version of his Kamehameha.

Bandai Namco previously revealed that Roshi would be available in September, although the magazine says it will appear in the summer, which is quite strange. The magazine hasn't hit store shelves in Japan yet, but when it does, we will likely see more screenshots of the movements listed here and some additional tidbits of information.

Just reading this information, there's a LOT of it already. people who think that Roshi will be garbage in the game, but as I already said, many of his techniques will be focused on balancing this lack of mechanics. We are also talking about Arc System Works, so I am sure that if anyone can find a way to balance Roshi in the game, and make it viable, they are, in fact, this decision may explain why they took SO LONG to free this character.
