90 Second Nerd Board Game Preview: The Quest Kids Matching Adventure.

90 Second Nerd Hi Im Jenny with 90 Second Nerd. Today I'll be previewing The Quest Kids: Matching Adventure by Treasure Falls Games.

My 90 seconds start now. Matching Adventure is designed for one to six tiny gamers who want to take their concentration game to the next level. This game can be played in three different modes - easy, hard, and hardest - depending on your gamer's attention span. The base of this game is set up just like memory. You look at two tiles and try to find a match, or in this case ,not just a match but an adventurer - Ivy, Crash, Noah, and Skyler from the original Quest Kids game make a re-appearance in this game - as well as some other friendly faces. You recruit these heroes to your adventuring party. There are also allies in the game that give a one-time use special ability. Once you've recruited a hero, you can venture into the wilderness to look for bad guys. You do this by flipping tiles in the river area and the forest area. Each river tile matches one tile in the forest area. Once you acquire a match you get the treasure tokens denoted from conquering that bad guy. Treasure tokens have victory points. Some treasure tokens have bonus points if you have the matching hero in your party, so it's a good idea to recruit more than one hero. Game ends when all the matches are claimed. The person with the most star points becomes the victor. My kids really love the Quest Kids world. They're already familiar with the characters in the original game and so they were really excited to see those characters again. Also the allies element adds a lot of flavor to an otherwise familiar game. So if you are interested in introducing your tiny gamers to the role-playing elements, this is a great start. Well my 90 seconds are up. Go check out Quest Kids: Matching Adventure from Treasure Falls Games. We'll post a link in the comments. I'm Jenny - be sure to like and subscribe. We'll see you later.
