Chadwick Boseman Black Panther Marvel Tribute

Welcome everyone, I'm charlie, obviously it's still a very sad moment, everyone is still grieving, chadwick boseman, the Marvel folks just posted their official tribute, it aired last night on tv so I'll play that video in a second here what I'm going to do.

Doing is the same as my last video and just donating the ad revenue from this video to a cancer charity, if you have one you want to recommend let me know in the comments so here is the Marvel tribute video that is broadcast on television for the last time.

The night it was Chadwick Boseman's performance at 42 that really got us a second look. There is so much honor and dignity in the way he played Jackie Robinson that we knew we needed it for the character of T'challa, the prince of Wakanda Chadwick. he is an amazing actor who we thought would be a perfect fit with mcu black panther himself, ladies and gentlemen mr chadwick boseman chadwick you know he has so much depth, he was amazing as an audience member.

Look him in the eye and see what's going on we must find a way to take care of each other as if we were a single tribe many of the things about the character are also true about chad he is very knowledgeable he is an athlete you know a martial artist has had a lot of experience playing roles that come with a lot of weight, you know, so I think has a has a person who has a guy has a lot, has a lot of weight for him, I think he brings all those things to the role not to mention that he is incredibly, you know, incredibly gifted as an actor and as a performer and also as a narrator in his own right I'm not the king of all people i am the king of wakanda and it is my responsibility to make sure our people are safe because he is very prepared as an actor and because his character is a bit flawless on set, he forced the other actors who had scenes with them to improve their game and go well, this guy doesn't take anything for granted, he's really leaving everything out there, so we have to keep up with him.

Chadwick doesn't bring the character, I mean, he's majestic and down-to-earth and gives him a seriousness, so all of this fuels his t'challa and I think he wore the crown with dignity, brought him back, I've known him since He was about 17, so I've known him for a long time, in New York.

Ork, he did the job, obviously, you know, I think he did an amazing job being true to the character I had a great time with Chadwick, just warmth and camaraderie of course with a lot of respect for his previous work so when I looked at him with proud eyes, you know they were like a mother and also a comrade and colleague and Angela, it's your time to be king, I want I mean, Chadwick is just a powerhouse, he really is.

So talented in every movie he's made there is a kind of almost inner nobility the black panther has been a protector of wakanda for generations he is such a moving actor and um so professional so present that he really gives so much to the other person and is amazing and His presence on set I think raises the stakes a bit for everyone.

Hadwick is a very smart and interesting dynamic guy and I think he was not overwhelmed but very surprised and somewhat taken aback by how much love he failed to feel. become how well the paper dwelt and all those things has become part of our culture just as a symbol, this welcome is one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced, it's fun to watch and see what it means to the people at times like in my head, I'll be fine, what does this do for the world? Actually, what is it? You know, it's really valuable in this climate and I have to say yeah, it's not really because it makes people escape, I think when it's done right, um da people expect me to find out that it means a lot, so all the actors of the avengers, all the greatest people, they marveled, the executives, the producers, they only paid honor to his memory, they broadcast it on abc right after they finished Stream commercial black panther movie for free Ryan Coogler, the Black Panther director who appeared during that commemorative video, also issued his official statement that he was very close to Chadwick Boseman, but is not active on social media and was much more broken over the weekend that it took him a couple days to gather his thoughts to issue an official statement and commemorate it so it was a very long and moving statement.

I'm only going to read part of what he said here. He says he was a special person, he often talked about heritage and what it means to be African when preparing for the movie talking about the black panther movie, he weighed every decision, every choice, not just by how it would be reflected in himself, but also on how those choices.

It would reverberate that they are not ready for this what we are doing this is star wars this is the lord of the rings but for us and bigger he used to say this to me when we were struggling to finish a dramatic scene that stretched into twice the overtime or while he was covered in body paint doing his own stunts or crashing into the icy water and landing on foam Pads I was nodding and smiling and I didn't believe him I had no idea if the movie would work I wasn't sure I knew what I was doing but I look backwards and I realized that Chad knew something that all of us didn't know he was playing long term while working and he deeply valued his privacy and I was not aware of the details of his illness after his family released his statement I realized he was living with this disease all the time.

Time i knew him because he was a caregiver a leader a man of faith dignity and pride he protected his collaborators from their suffering he lived a beautiful life and performed great art day after day year after year that was what he was a fireworks epics tell stories about being there for some of the bright sparks until the end of my days, what an incredible mark he left on us, but he's with a heavy heart and a sense of deep gratitude to have ever been in his presence.

I have to keep in mind the fact that Chad is an ancestor now and I know he will take care of us until we meet again signed ryan coogler so it is a wonderful tribute and talks about working on the black panther movie I think a lot people were shocked to hear Ryan I worked so closely with him for so long and with such intensity on a movie like that that I didn't know he was suffering from cancer the whole time I talked about it in my last video, but he actually found out that he had diagnosed stage cancer 3.

in 2016 around the time when Captain America's civil war was happening, so he shot all these different movies, not just Marvel movies like avengers end game avengers infinity war the black panther movie, but a series full of other great independent films and between them.

I just went through incredibly invasive and intensive cancer surgeries and treatments just taking it all like a champ, you re-watch some of these movies all of this was happening while avengers end game avengers infinity war was happening even the black panther movie and him It looks fantastic, you don't know it just to look at it, one of the reasons you probably didn't want to tell a lot of the people you were working with that you were suffering from this is that it ends with the perception that people have of you, the industry in everything you do, it's about that, not the job or the brand you're trying to leave and a lot of people have been talking about the impact that his characters and the work that he had had on people all over the world and they didn't want take that away from any of those people but it's wonderful to hear from all the other great avengers actors who have been talking all this time about the special person Who he was and how much he inspired them to step in and completely change the landscape of not just the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Marvel movies, but just pop culture and cinema in general, I encourage you to check out some of his other movies if you haven't seen anything but his Marvel movies, they're all fantastic, he's fantastic at everything he does, which is probably will happen in the future because Marvel has the black widow movie they plan to release later this year is they could attach some kind of memorial or card to that movie reminding him that they did the same for Stan Lee when the Captain Marvel movie came out, but they will find some way to get some kind of memorial in the next movies, it's just now they only have the black widow movie later this year and then the eternals movie early next year I think it's a Little gross to talk about Black Panther 2 right now, but I'm sure sometime next year they'll address what's going on with the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and give it a go.

Adequate amount of time to resolve so that they do not disrespect his memory so if you did not see him I also posted a video chat with boseman last weekend, after they announced the news of his passing, you can click here to see it and you can click here to see all my other Marvel videos, thanks so much for watching Everyone, please stay healthy and safe.
