Starfield ● About the release date of the game Starfield

There is absolutely no information about the Starfield game, a lot of time has passed since the announcement of the game, and the question of the release date of the game is in the first place. We are already lost in conjectures, each assumes its own version.

And I decided to bring all the available news together, which in one way or another may hint to us about the year of the release of this game. Well, let's start, perhaps, with the latest news, namely about the new generation consoles, the release of which is scheduled for the winter season.

For example, Sony has already officially announced that their PS5 should be expected at the end of 2020. October to December approximately. During that period of time, when usually, all major releases come out. Closer to winter, to New Year's holidays, when the weather is not very good outside, and people prefer to stick to video games at home in a warm place.

Well, when else do they do it. Summer is not the best time for video games. In the summer, there are gaming exhibitions and events, including the largest gaming event, E3, which attracts journalists from all over the world. And there is every reason to believe that Starfield will be shown at E3 2020.

Why? I'll explain a little later. I think we will see a full trailer for the game, with all the details and comments from Todd Howard, I have no doubt that he will represent the game. Possibly with Pitt Hines. As it was already known from the interviews that I reviewed on the channel, the studio developers knew all their technical capabilities and requirements long before the official announcement of the set-top boxes, and therefore the game is made taking them into account.

However, it is logical that they could not and cannot divulge them. But the fact that the game has already been adapted for new consoles is a fact. I would not be surprised that Microsoft and Sony could have some kind of mutually beneficial agreement with such a large company as Zenimax Media, because promoting your product if it is accompanied by such a large-scale and ambitious game like Starfield is much easier.

According to the optimistic forecast, one can assume such an outcome of events that in the summer of 2020 at the E3 exhibition the official presentation of consoles and the Starfield game takes place, and closer to winter, after half a year of a large-scale advertising campaign, the start of sales of these products, both consoles and the game itself.

Here all the cards converge, this is the most optimistic and, most importantly, realistic scenario. End of 2020, simultaneous release of next-gen consoles and long-awaited Starfield. It would seem that these are all theories, well, while I was making this video and looking for any additional information on the topic, I came across a video from a foreign video blogger who showed screenshots from the website of the trademark registrar and the history of applying for the renewal of the Starfield trademark.

I dug myself personally in all this mess. After all, all this data is in the public domain. I went to the registrar's website, got acquainted with the materials, and indeed, ZeniMax Media has 6 months to renew the rights to the trademark, from August 2019.

This is required by law. The Starfield trademark was registered in 2011. By law, a company is required to prove the use of a trademark between the fifth and sixth year after registration. The Starfeild teaser was shown to us in 2018, just 6 years after the registration was submitted.

If the announcement hadn't happened, the trademark would have been canceled. Now do you understand why such an empty video was shown, from which it is impossible to understand anything? This, in fact, was required by the American trademark law. The process of renewing a trademark and submission of documents is quite a chore, and it also costs a certain amount of money, and most importantly, an applicant can submit a total of 5 renewal requests and the request cannot be filed more than thirty-six months after the issuance of a trademark use permit.

Sign. For everything about everything is given 3 years. We look at the history of filing applications. In 2020, the trademark must be used, otherwise it will be canceled. In general, all these things are murky, but everything points to 2020, and the release of NextGen consoles, and the expiration of the Starfield trademark, if it is not used for its intended purpose, and therefore there is every reason to wait for the game at the end of 2020.

Well, or at least a lot of information on it. It's up to you to decide whether this is good news or is it a pitchfork on the water, and therefore write all your thoughts in the comments, subscribe to the channel, click on the bell, like if you would like the video more often.
