Paper Mario: The Origami King: Game Review

Does Paper Mario: The Origami King make the cut for kids? Most definitely. In the latest entry from this action-adventure series, a paper-thin Mario sets out to find his brother Luigi and find out what's happening with Princess Peach's mansion. Sure, Mario smashes paper enemies with a mallet, and some battles include stomping and striking.

But the game is completely cartoon-like, and enemies just disappear when they lose. Plus the overall message is of helping friends and family, and the world-famous mustachioed plumber is brave, loyal, and friendly. Common Sense says Paper Mario: The Origami King is OK for kids 8 and up and we've named it a Common Sense Selection.
