The TOP BEST Indie Games OUT THIS WEEK!

Hello and welcome one more time to indie games as we approach the final quarter of the year, things are heating up in terms of new game releases with this week starting on Monday September 14th with the best all year long. and so without further delay, we're going to get stuck on this week's hottest indie game releases first and in no real order until we hit slot number one, hacking a game that's new to us the morning we write this script for this.

New video game releases for the week now seems to be a bit of a mix-up with this one as some websites say it will hit the switch too, though for now, at least to the best of our ability, it will be out this week via early access. via Steam. where the developers say it will stay for a year or so being improved and improved by player feedback and at first glance it is already a solid looking action platformer, metroidvania, so it ticks many of our boxes.

. ak and we're eager to see how the exploration and skill-building process unfolds, all within its post-apocalyptic wasteland, we're also eager to see what the developers mean by their claim that the game is not about hair. heartbreaking game instead of this it's about delivering a fast and smooth overall experience that most people can pick up and play to us sounds like a nod towards general accessibility which if so gets a thumbs up from us, we have a good thing, it's kind of silly Although we wanted to share and laugh a bit in general.

Nonsense, if that makes sense, well anyway, the fighting crab came out in July for PCs and is also expected to go out on the switch next September 15th, as you can see from the images on the screen here we have a 3D action game where you take command of a crab and fight other crabs in what really is a crab-filled battle arena game.

The game at the moment, the video is airing mostly positive reviews from those who played it on PC and gave up 1v1 2v2 or online and offline. battle modes campaign mode comes with 34 stages, all spread over seven different chapters with the goal of flipping as many crabs as possible in a quest the press release calls for becoming lord of the crustaceans, so yeah all it's tall. It's very silly and yet there's probably a fair amount of fun in here if you've already played it or if you think it looks good enough to wear on the computer or the switch, let us know in the comments coming out on the 17th via Steam.

And then we have the officially licensed digital adaptation of the award-winning bird strategy board game for one to five players, your goal here is to build a nature reserve in a limited number of turns in what is an educational strategy game and relaxing with over 170 unique birds, all of them reflecting the powers they have in real life as competitive card games go well in scope, there is something here that is quite unlike anything else you are likely to find within the genre moving forward and something that is still a little different in the journey of the broken circle here we can expect a game that is fun and vibrant, it is about the realization of love life and existentialism where you meet and greet fascinating characters with your goal of becoming the imperfect circle, so yeah, we all know that sounds good, so to speak, though something like Get what this bus cando to do is apparently a story and a game about self-discovery and perhaps self-improvement, if that's a word in which you meet other characters.

Acters and make use of their skills and abilities to push the game in the face of things right, it feels pretty universal and relatable with developers who have previously said that it is a game that really is all about the little details that seemed to be missing.

A better job a nicer place to live an ideal relationship and so on, so yeah it's an offer that looks and sounds curious so we will be eager to take care of this in an interesting way as if it were yes this comes to the PC via Steam and also on the switch next September 18 at number three and another huge huge surprise.

For us, it works maybe a lot better than maybe it has every right to, bpm or rounds per minute, well it's a pacing based first person shooter that plays out incredibly fast, there's nothing we think about that resembles it. all year long he plays at this pace and plays the way he does and feels more like shooters from the early era of doom and like the pacing, stiff controls, and really well-matched roguelike elements that make you this is actually pretty good now if we were to score, it would certainly get a solid eight or even a nine, however it is quite difficult and like all roguelikes some races are easier than others although there is no doubt that This represents a really difficult challenge for us, at least even when we play it at the level of lower difficulty, honestly, though if you're a fan of roguelikes shooter rhythm games or just fancy getting yourself something that's a little different and makes a difference really well, then bpm should go to your wish list and it'll come out on September 15th by way of Steam at number two of the hottest indie games this week, we welcome long-term viewers to know that we have covered this game a few times here on the channel for the last 18 months and I've had the privilege of having access to the full game before its launch next Thursday the 17th, where it will be available on PC via Steam and also on Xbox One, so yes, we have played it from start to finish and while we are I am not quite there is sure to be an embargo, as this video airs we are inclined to describe the overall experience playing it as delightfully bummed now, that's not a bad thing despite what you might think ar that welcome to moose certainly goes down a bit.

Dark avenues and it is very unwise to go into this without knowing what you are about to find the difference between much of the theme and the almost childish whimsical cartoon nature, the images are of course by design with the developers having spoken in terms of t Style is used to speak and tell a story about themes like loss, grief and death in a visually joyful way, it's also a game, let's not forget about the real life stories that were essentially told to the central character of the game.

A lady named frigg who is a newcomer to moose island with her the place meeting and talking to the locals some of course are friendlier than others among these stories you play short but really fun mini-games that are story related associate we found ourselves dancing on stage to sing and do vocal harmonies in a karaoke type show to make balloon faces from magazine clippings to throwing away pints and many more that would possibly ruin this show, so yeah it's certainly dark in places and we highly recommend it welcome to elk tales are beautifully made and for the most part wonderfully alive- claiming at number one this week and one of the most anticipated indie game releases of all of 2020, spelunky 2 is finally out after some delays here and there and comes out Tuesday the 15th on the PlayStation 4 with a launch on PC via Steam at end of September 29th for anyone who doesn't know and in all honesty there can't be too many channel viewers for whom this is new to s pelunky 2 is a continuation of what arguably is one of the most influential indie games of all time that came out in 2018 with its procedurally generated levels and roguelike gameplay what we have here is more of the same with the obvious graphical enhancements offered by current generation hardware, we also have a campaign to one player to get stuck in though as far as we're here getting indie games I'm more eager to get caught up in local couch co-op options, we can play this together as a small group and that's exactly what we have planned all day.

On launch day there is also the option to play this online with others and we are suspicious of friends and randoms, although, as we have said several times over the years, we are not too inclined to play with strangers, although we can dabble in the online game lobbies.

To see what kind of community the game attracts again at launch and in the future, as this video airs one day before launch, we understand that there aren't too many advanced copies of this in the rounds with maybe just the edge magazine. print at the beginning of the month with a full review while we have a copy of that magazine on the table next to us as we shoot this video, we haven't read it yet to avoid spoilers of which we're pretty sure there will be a lot so yeah, we are very excited on the release of spelunky 2 and if you share those sentiments, be sure to let us know in the comments, as always a big thank you to our customers for your continued support and if you can, feel free to visit our community.
