How I got tired of continuous online games, services and sandboxes.

What annoys me about games lately. That there is absolutely nothing to play. Yes, there are a lot of games, there are too many of them, but there is one big BUT. All recent games they copy to each other, they are all the same, all around are continuous online jerks, sandboxes in which random objects or opponents are stuck and you move between them, destroy them.

Battle Royale, just captured everything, I don't remember which one or a major game that did not copy this mode at least in part. even my only and respected online game Battlefield followed in the same footsteps and released this mode. And what is most important in all this madness is that the developers themselves do not seem to notice that they are slipping into monotonous shit.

And the worst thing is that living examples do not teach anything and they step on the same rake. And I'm not saying that online games are bad, but the industry is simply oversaturated with them. Okay, let's figure it out. Another online vyser is coming out called Enthem, another empty world with randomly stuck areas of interest that are visited by a group of players.

They arrived, destroyed enemies, collected loot, flew to the next one and so on in a circle. All and sundry have fouled up the game, since most are already fed up with games of this kind, in which there is simply no fucking thing to do except for a solid grind, games that are sharpened for services, the sale of loot boxes.

Players are not blind, they see everything and feel that they want to breed them on their blood, although there are those who will eat any shit that they are given from year to year. The most interesting thing about all of this is that the most successful projects of recent times that come out are remasters of old games, namely old, single-player, story-oriented games.

They are played by millions, they are given high marks, they are praised, recommended, loved and adored. The latest example is Resident Evil 2, but then again the developers release an online wanker, which fails miserably. For example, the same Fallout 76.

Despite the fact that the game does not position itself as a shooter, but nevertheless, all the main time, the players are doing what they are collecting loot and shooting ghouls. Are the writers all extinct? Not at all? no one to write a plot? No one to come up with the characters of the characters, or what? What's happening? Even single-player games of recent times are a model of online games sharpened for one player.

Now Rage 2 is expected, and what I see is the same online sandbox, in fact, only instead of the opponents of the players, bots appear. And so it all comes down to one, another desert in which bases are stuck, between which you move with the goal their destruction.

Everything is the same that happens in any online game, only this time you act alone and play against AI and not living people. Why the developers themselves do not notice this, they are kicked, hated, they are underestimated, but they continue to release monotonous online co-op jerkers.

Skyrim is a game of 2011, people still play and rivet mods on it in order to prolong its life, because there are simply no alternatives. Everyone loves Dragon Age Origin, and everyone despises the Inquisition, all because again we were given essentially an online game, under the guise of single-user.

It completely looks and feels like an online toy, with an empty world and opponents stuck in it, like an unfinished online project that we decided to make a single-coil half way. People love Diablo 2, they still play today, but Blizzard is releasing another dull online microtransaction shit that is being sown with mud again.

Why are the developers so concrete and all the time somewhere on their own wave, they don't want to hear the players, they listen to their marketers, and as a result, they again receive a bunch of negative reviews for their games on Steam and on the metacritic website.

If you open the list of the best games of all time, there are solid old-school single-player games. This is perhaps the only game for which I am very afraid, with everything else for a long time and so it is clear that it will not work, it will definitely be multiplayer co-op shit.

Only sometimes we are pleased with something like Resident Evil or Metro Exodus. You can agree with me, you can disagree, everyone has their own views and tastes, but I decided to share my opinion on this all. It just got enough, and I got tired of replaying old games, just because there are no new games that give such sensations ..
