MARIO KART TOUR - arcade racing in the Mario universe for Android and iOS [Review].
Hello, friends. This is madeforipad and a review of a fresh game from Nintendo called Mario Kart Tour for iOS and Android mobile platforms. Mario Kart Tour is an arcade racing game set in the Mario universe. When you first launch the game, you will be politely forced to create a Nintendo account, or log into an existing one, a procedure that is quite rare in mobile games, which is why some individuals of primary school age are quite bombarded about this.
For me, everything is done simply and takes just a couple of minutes. Then you are sent on the run to the race track and are taught how to drive. There are two types of it - Simple and Drift. Choose the one that suits you best. After you learn how to get into the corners, it will be possible to play a little naughty.
Whipping riders will be released on the track, and you can mock them by picking up various weapons and boosts in dice with question marks. These things add a factor of surprise to the game. Here you are proudly riding the very first and look forward to victory, because the finish line is just a stone's throw away.
But suddenly you get a hump in the shell of a turtle and are already lagging behind. Such a probability of events developing is, in my opinion, even a plus of this game. What else does this game have? The graphics in Mario Kart Tour are vibrant and colorful.
Well, something, but they know how to draw at Nintendo. Variety is okay too. There are many tracks, heroes and vehicles with their own characteristics, which you will gradually discover - you will definitely not be bored. As someone quite rightly wrote in the comments to the game, there are, in general, only two of them.
The first drawback is the vertical orientation of the screen, like in Mario Run, without the ability to change it. And don’t need to tell me that this is technically impossible. Mario Kart on Wii U is horizontal, but in a two-player game, one player is assigned the left side of the screen, the other the right.
That is, it turns out already two vertical blocks. The second drawback is the lack of Russian in the game, while there are many others. Besides English, there are German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, even Chinese of two types. But the Russian was not delivered.
Why are you doing this to us, Nintendo? However, despite the fact that the greed of the Nintendo company is legendary, the donation in Mario Kart Tour does not bite, which more than covers its shortcomings. Agree, if the game was horizontal orientation and Russian, but at the same time a malicious donat, no one would did not play.
And so, many are playing and, given that Mario Kart Tour is now ranked first in the Racing category for the iOS platform, they are quite happy. Judging by the assessment of 4.3 points out of 5, people are also mostly satisfied with the version on Android.
