The Elder Scrolls 6 ● Deconstructing the Hammerfell hint in TES 6 from Bethesda.

After Bethesda presented a video dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Elder Scrolls series to the public, there has been a lot of talk on the network about the fact that the company has teased us a province in which The Elder Scrolls 6 will unfold, namely Hammerfell.

That during the demonstration of a new technology that allows you to create 3d models based on photographs, they showed a picture in which a photographer is seen taking pictures of stones that are obviously in a desert area. But is everything as obvious as it seems at first glance? Let's start, perhaps, with the fact that I, like many others, immediately drew attention to this frame, these stones and the same thoughts flashed in my head about the desert, Hammerfell, but did not begin to talk about it aloud, so that do not create disputes out of the blue, since the past video was exclusively about the exhibition and the anniversary of the series, I did not want to spoil it with the next theories and speculations.

But people demand, as they say, bread and circuses, and therefore this video was inevitable. And I immediately want to point out that I do not dispute these theories and admit that the next part of the series will be in Hammerfell, this is quite likely, but until there is official confirmation, all the arguments are nothing more than guesses, speculations and theories, and not direct hints, as some players have already christened it.

But first things first. Hammerfell is the northwestern province of Tamriel, home to the Redguards. And the desert in question is bordered by the Iliac Bay all along the coast. But again, we return to the picture shown, it can be clearly seen that the stones are located in a sandy area, and it is these stones that we see in TEC Online when we travel through the lands of Hammerfell in the desert area.

, more likely High Rock, in the technology presentation we are shown Hammerfell. In an interview, Todd Howard answered the question whether it is possible to identify a province by a teaser, saying that you can only exclude some provinces and some only include in the list of potential places.

That is, there was no specific answer, yes or no. And this begs the question, Bethesda deliberately leads us by the nose? So maybe the company is deliberately throwing more firewood into heated debates? The studio loves conversations around their games and specifically encourages so-called speculations, and openly writes about it on Twitter, following the example of the announcement of the E3 exhibition.

What do you think, if initially, after the release of Part 4, it was not known that Part 5 would be in Skyrim and we would be shown a photo of birch trees from the area around Riften, what would fans write about on the net? birch trees? There is no snow, so it's definitely not Skyrim, it's probably Cyrodiil.

But in this province there is already a game, maybe it's another continent altogether? That is, it is impossible to determine the terrain from one frame, since it is vast, and it is possible that such a terrain may very likely be in High Rock. Moreover, there are 2 provinces nearby, bordering and the climate in some zones may be identical.

Why am I? And to the fact that we are shown what we want to see, because there are a lot of rumors and disputes on the network, some argue that High Rock, others That Hammerfell, and some and others give weighty arguments, and this begs the question, why do we exclude an option that the game will unfold in two provinces at once? After all, this immediately brings all theories and assumptions together, and this theory also has its arguments.

Nobody hid anything. Then, after the release of Skyrim, the Redgurd trademark is registered, which makes us understand that the next part will most likely be in Hammerfell, but then this trademark is abandoned and a new trademark RedFall is registered.

I made a separate video about this, which prompted the studio to abandon Redguard in favor of Redfall. Maybe the fact that the second does not oblige you to make the game in one particular region. And then you need to go over the headings of the previous parts.

Most of them are named after the regions we are going to play in. So why the trademark registered for the 6th part sounds like RedFall and not Hamerfell or High Rock. After all, they are just as easy to remember, no more difficult than the same Morrowind.

However, the subtitle will most likely be RedFall. So maybe all the same, the truth of the game will affect 2 provinces at once, it is quite possible to do this, since in the same Starfield, according to some rumors, there will be 5 planets, each about the size of a Skyrim map.

The scale is colossal, but in an era when games take over 100 gigabyte hard disk space, nothing is impossible. Therefore, we can only guess and build theories, while we will be given only that information that only adds to the controversy on the network around the game, since this is what fuels the excitement and eternal talk about the game, even before its release.

That is what the studio needs. Therefore, do not exclude the possibility that the game will be deployed in two provinces at once, and also do not jump to conclusions based on only one photo, as it can be misleading. I hope I have detailed my thoughts on all these theories, hints from the studio, as well as the guesses of users on the network, you can supplement me by writing your versions in the comments ..
