Immortals Fenyx Rising - Upcoming Open world RPG - Gameplay, Features and Release Date.
Hello, my name is ColdBeer and a few hours ago Ubisoft showed off it's new open world game, which was previously known as Gods & Monsters. Now they have changed the name to Immortals: Fenyx Rising. Name is still generic and sounds boring, but the game itself has very high potential to uncrown Breath of The Wild and take its place in the world of colorful RPGs with a vast open world.
And that world looks amazing, look at it. Usually I prefer a dark, gloomy atmosphere, but this time even I must admit that everything looks the way it should and cartoonish environments are made very well. Immortals Fenyx Rising is a third person open world action adventure set in the fantastical landscape of Greek mythology. In the trailer the main protagonist looks like a woman, or actually like a very beautiful guy that could trick you after a few drinks of vodka. You know, next morning you wake up with a terrible headache and realize that you have made a huge mistake - you went to sleep with all your clothes and now you stink. Aha, that was unexpected, right? So, here you can actually create your hero in any way you want. You can be a man, you can be a girl, black, white, green, whatever - total freedom of creation awaits you here. And as you progress, you will find even more opportunities to customize your character by discovering legendary weapons, unique pieces of gear,cosmetics and earning the god's blessings and mythical abilities that can turn the tide of the battle. To your side. Or from you. Depends on where you are I guess.
Your main objective will be to defeat the evil Typhon and save the gods. I googled what Typhon is and it seemed to be a monstrous serpentine giant and one of the deadliest creatures in Greek mythology. So you will be up for a challenge. Also here you can obtain the power of flight. Well, actually gliding, like in Breath of The WIld, but still a very impressive feature that kicks ass of many open world games that chain you to the ground and ground mounts at best.
Well, let me emphasise this one more time: the game looks awesome. It really does, I wasn’t expecting it to be such a beauty. And for the end I should also mention that in game you will encounter various puzzles, secrets and mysteries you will have to solve, so it will not be just a no brainer hack and slasher, it may be interesting for more mature players as well.
Game will be released on December 3rd on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™, Epic Games Store, Uplay and Stadia.
