Necromunda: Underhive Wars - Gameplay Review.
Welcome to Necromunda, a gigantic hive city full of winding tunnels where lawlessness and violent gangs are fighting. In intense tactical combat from the 3rd person, you must strengthen the power of your home, kill enemies and win. Underhive Wars is a tactical RPG where players control gangs of unique fighters from one of three great houses, who fight for power and wealth.
The houses are called Orlok, Goliath, and Escher. Orlok are adventurous ranged masters. House Escher are agile and deadly warriors, and Goliaths are artificially created monstrous giants. Each fighter is deeply individual: you can choose for him special weapons, skills, armor, key parameters, unique to rank, class and house skills and improvements, and much more.
Decide what is closer to you: silently blow off heads and maim enemies from afar or brutally chop them in melee. Personalization of appearance is also varied: an infinite variety of shoulder pads, leggings, bibs, shoes, piercings, hairstyles and palettes are available for each gang and fighter.
It is possible both for one warrior and for the whole house. You will never see two gangs alike. Combat in Underhive Wars is all about freedom of action and tiered maps. Each class has a variety of behaviors: the saboteur can stay in the rear and use his skills from afar, or he can knock enemies out of the most advantageous point and thwart their plans from there.
What will the leader do: will he crush opponents with powerful blows or support allies with inspiring speeches and threats? The possibilities are endless. First aid posts, bridges, elevators, abandoned shipping containers, ropes, gas traps, toxic substances, cogitators - in the Underhive you will have many chances to outwit the enemy.
In extreme cases, lethal weapons come to the rescue: grenades, flamethrowers, cannons, disc shooters ... if you go from above, you can get a tactical advantage. Be sure to look for weak spots in enemy equipment in order to inflict increased damage. Rich and famous gangs get access to special missions and new training opportunities.
Three exciting main modes await you. The storyline campaign tells the story of mutual assistance, betrayal and violent gang clashes, as well as introducing the mechanics of Necromunda: Underhive Wars. The story is written by veteran of the Necromunda universe Andy Chambers.
In combat mode, your gang will develop endlessly and accumulate rewards. Lead your home to glory and crush enemies throughout the Underhive in procedurally generated missions. Finally, in crazy online mode, you can fight for power, fame and fortune with players from all over the world ..
