BOARD GAME COMPONENT BOWLS - Bit Bowls

Hello everyone and welcome back to Nerd Shelves, my name is Michael and today I wanted to talk about some accessories and upgrades that I like to use when board game today, I am going to talk about bowls to put all your bits and components so join me on the table when we take a look at the component bowls as well as you can see here I have a few different bowl options that I like to use when playing board games I know there are thousands of options out there and you can find some in the store geek at bgg and there are some that are specific to board games.

I know that Stonemaier Games have little containers that come in their games like scythe and wingspan and there are some really cool folding ones that you can get from bgg and are made specifically for board games but these are just a few other options that I wanted to share with you, these They are easy to find and relatively cheap options, so the first one I want to show you is my go to component B owl well, these are called pinch bowls, I think they are used for spices and things like that, and I bought them from my local mini store prices.

I got a pack of four or think Canadian $ 1.25, so they are super cheap. having about twelve of them that I use but these are great because first of all they are clear and transparent so when they are on the table and the components They are in them, it is easy to see for everyone, but the other thing that I really like about them is that I love the bowls that have the rounded bottom because when you take out the components, it is much easier now, these are for me, They are the perfect size, they are not too big so they do not take up too much space, your table is not too small, so they contain components most of the time, so I use them for all the resources and games, all the money I put in everything that comes in the game, 95% of the time is perfect to start with, I bought eight, but there was a game or two that had a lot of components, so I ended up buying another pack of four, so I think I have 12 of these, but they work perfectly, the other bowl i wanted to show these are japanese bowls and they are used for japanese soups or to dip your sushi and things like that now, the reason why i love these bowls they have round bottom and they are very easy to remove components, but there are some games where you want to hide its components, for example, Draftosaurus is a game where you have your dinosaur meeples, but you are supposed to hold them in your hand so that nobody can see them when you pass them to the next person, these work perfectly because obviously they are not transparent so you can have your components inside and you can hold them and take out the one want and pass them on perfectly these work very well I also use them along with these sometimes when maybe there are a lot of gold coins and they keep piling up from here so I use them because they are just a little bit bigger but these are fantastic and it They look really cool now, the third bowl is that I don't use this type of bowl very often, I like the look of it because it's wood, but this is just because I use it for things what I use is bigger, for example Arkham Horror 3E sometimes when I want to have all the character stuff inside just to make it easy if one of my characters dies and I need to choose a new character sometimes.

I will put them here or dead of winter is one in another, I will put some characters there, but bigger things, things that really do not fit in these bowls, these are also great, they are not great bowls of resources, but they are good to have in the table only for those bigger things you might need, like I said, I hardly ever used them but I've used them and they work relatively well and the last Bowl wanted to show you more than one container but I bought them specifically for a game I bought them for Orly now , the reason is because these can put the little round chips inside and they fit almost perfectly, I think I had to leave a couple for some of them, but most fit all here and the lid closed properly, but the reason I like them is that you can close them, they store perfectly in the box there is hardly enough space to have them all in the box, but what I love about these is that they are the perfect size, They are a little smaller than these, but you open them and I know you have to take some depending on the player count, but each of these bowls fits perfectly on the board, so you do not have to take the components out of the bags and pour them and stack them on the board but just put this container on the board and they all fit perfectly there and then when you're done with the game you just put them back in the foreground and it fits perfectly in the box so these are some bowls that I use when I play board games and I wanted to share with you, you know that I am as I said earlier there are thousands, I am sure that there are different options and I would love to know what you use for them Component bowls, so why not leave comments below and also let us know if you like the Nerd shelving series? that subscribe button and the notification bell to notify you when we upload more videos and we'd love your support, so there you have it.
