A CROWN TUNDRA BETA?! New RUMOR for Pokemon Crown Tundra DLC!.

The Crown Tundra is just about two weeks away, and this user has claimed that they played the Crown Tundra Beta. Let's jump into it. What is going on Youtube. It's your boy Dan, aka "aDrive". I brought you guys a brand new video today. Today, we're gonna dive into a new Crown Tundra rumor from an anonymous user who has claimed that they have played a Crown Tundra Beta.

Now, at this point, we don't know of any public Beta or anything like that, but it is very likely that there is some sort of Beta testing going on internally within Game Freak, and maybe with some of their partners. Maybe some localization teams, whatever it may be, we know that people have their hands on at this point like I said, about two weeks away-ish from the Crown Tundra actually dropping, so this is very feasible.

Now, again this is a rumor, so we want to take it with a grain of salt. We don't know if this is real or false, but just honestly, just obviously take that perspective in as it could obviously be fake, but very interesting to talk about nevertheless.

We're gonna dive into that. If you guys enjoy this rumor type videos, be sure to hit that Like button down below. And, make sure you guys subscribe to the channel. Subscribing's totally free and Youtube tells me that about 50% of you guys are actually not subscribed.

You might not even realize it yet, but I post Pokemon videos every single day. We're gonna have a lot of great Crown Tundra content. We've actually had some really cool stuff. But, this rumor is very interesting, so let's dive into it. All right. This person claims that they played the Crown Tundra Beta.

And, it took them about 6 hours for the storyline. I think if you were to nail down the storyline for the Isle of Armor, we were looking at about 4, maybe 5 hours, maybe 3 to 4? This person's indicating it's gonna be about 6 hours of gameplay. The name of Peony's daughter is Jasmine, and the old man seen in the datamine is Mr.

Willow. I think that's his last name not his first name, so we know of a couple different datamine characters. We know Peony obviously, and then we know that there's another character which seems to be Peony's daughter. And, then we also know that there is a third character, an older gentleman and this is claiming his name is Mr.

Willow. It says that there's two new Gigantamax forms. Those are only for the new Regis, Regidrago and Regieleki, saying that there's actually no additional Gigantamax forms at this point in time, which is very interesting to know. Now, when we think about what the Isle of Armor brought for us, there really wasn't any new Gigantamax forms outside of the starters and you know, kind of genuine starters, you know, Venusaur and Blastoise, and then of course, the starters, you know, Cinderace and Rillaboom and Intelion, so you know, those were the Gigantamax forms that we have in the Isle of Armor.

This is stating that there's only two new ones, which I think with the plethora of Legendaries, with the Regigigas, which I'm hoping, and you know kind of thinking there's a good chance of Regigigas gets some love of this, this kind of DLC. This is stating that again, just Regieleki and Regidrago are the only two beneficiaries of the Gigantamax form.

It says they have a cutscene connecting to them, but I was not able to see that cutscene. This person's indicating the cutscenes were not available at this point in the testing phase. Regidrago, pretty much looks like a skeleton of a Charizard that has a massive, red spiritual power around it, and Regieleki is pretty much the same, but it's much bigger, it's got lightning bolts running through it, so it's kind of describing a little bit about what their Gigantamax forms look like.

Calyrex does not have a Gigantamax form. Of course, Calyrex, one of the focal points of the Crown Tundra. It does have two different Fusion forms however, depending on which version you play. Now, this is something that is a leak right now in datamine information, so just an fyi for those who try to avoid that stuff.

I would assume you probably wouldn't have clicked on this video, but just a fair spoiler warning here. Some of these stuff, like I said is, is leaked or you know, a lot of speculation around it. It has the two different Fusion forms depending on which version you play on, Sword versus Shield.

This individual's indicating they played on Shield version, and the White horse is named "Stallion". It looks like the most holy horse ever. Think Arceus, but a horse. And the fusion with Calyrex is something very special. Calyrex turns into something that looks kind of like a reindeer, but with a bright light and yellow colors with a halo on top.

It's really cool. So, it's indicating that Calyrex fuses with this new Pokemon essentially Stallion, and these two Pokemon fuse together, and then Calyrex kind of looks like almost like a reindeer-like Pokemon. This wouldn't of course be the first time we've seen fusion in the Pokemon games, as we know have different fusion mechanics with Kyurem and Reshiram and Zekrom.

So, you know, the fusion mechanic is not something totally out of the question here. I do not know of any other fusion, or with the other horse looks like, their version exclusives. The Regis are not version exclusives according to this post. However, the other horse that we seemingly don't really know a ton about that would fuse with Calyrex, is a version exclusive.

Summary of the story in the Pokemon is all right. It's nothing revolutionary, but it's a little bit better than the Isle of Armor. I don't know if there's any DLCs planned after this one, so this individual's saying "Hey, we don't know if there's any other DLCs, but the story was okay.

It was a little bit better than the Isle of Armor, nothing too crazy". And, then it goes on to say the new Max Raid System which I did with CPUs was pretty disappointing. It's not challenging at all. You go through five different raids before your Legendary, and you first face off against a 1-star Raid, and you work your way up.

So, for those who are not familiar with the Raid mechanics, we understand that you're gonna be going into these Dens, you're gonna be obtaining your Pokemon through these Dens. Like you don't get to bring your own team, right? Like you're going through these Dens to kind of defeat these Pokemon, you choose your path along the way.

And, this is saying once you go through 5 rounds of that, essentially 1 2, 1 2 3 4 5 stars, you'll eventually get to the Legendary at the end, and you know, you're accumulating your team kind of, as you go, and perhaps based on the Legendaries you're looking for, you can choose the different team or the members or whatever it may be, to kind of indicate what you're gonna be rocking for, but this is saying that it's not super challenging.

Now, when we take a look at the Max Raid System that we've had in Pokemon Sword and Shield of this point, there's only been a few tiny instances of challenging raids. One of which was the Mewtwo event that they rolled out. I believe it was on Pokemon day if I'm not mistaken, where they rolled out this super crazy Mewtwo that you actually couldn't even catch if I'm not mistaken.

And, then the Zeraora raids I believe, had some challenge to them if you didn't have the right team. There's been a few Gigantamax raids where if you don't optimize your team and play with other people, your stuck with Martin on a Solrock. They're gonna be pretty you know, pretty lackluster.

I'm not surprised to hear if this is indeed real, that the Max Raid System was a bit of a disappointment. And, then it says here, that the Game Freak is going to get most of their points is the Crown Tundra itself. The wild area is cool and immersive, and that is unbelievable.

Most of you will love it. So, this is indicating that just the atmosphere of the Crown Tundra is quite, quite wonderful, beautiful, whatever it may be, and when we think of how the wild area in the main part of Sword and Shield in Galar kind of compares to the Isle of Armor, I felt like the Isle of Armor was way more robust, right? It felt like they really did a good job with the not quite the foliage, but like the leafage and the different kind of plant life, and just you know, the different biomes that you travel through.

I felt like that they did a really good job. Kind of decorating it, and making it feel a little more lively. And I definitely anticipate that with the Crown Tundra, and don't forget, the Crown Tundra is not exclusively a location of snow and ice. We know that there's areas of grass and you know, sunshine, and whatever it else may be.

So, some opportunities for some pretty cool diversification there in the Crown Tundra as we look at the DLC, and how this is gonna shake out. So, I'm not gonna be surpised if it is immersive, it looks better, and I feel like this whole wild area, Isle of Armor, Crown Tundra DLC is really an experimentation piece for Pokemon Game Freak to experiment on that idea of this open world adventure which I think is becoming more and more likely as we head to Generation 9, which is probably a few years away, but I don't think it's any sort of question that they're using this as an opportunity to kind of do some kind of experimentation, try some different things out, and see how they can function.

We know that the wild area is actually quite awesome, but as long as you're not online, if you connect online, you're gonna be lagging all over the place. So, some very interesting insights here derived from this individual who again, claims to have played the Crown Tundra Beta.

A lot of information has already been kind of leaked or datamine, but some interesting filler information there that they kind of talked about. Nothing too descriptive. Again, they said that there was no cutscenes to look at. But, we do know from the leaks that there are four chapters that are gonna be taking place in the Crown Tundra.

I anticipate the story to be a little bit robust than the Isle of Armor. We do believe that the map size is significantly larger than the Isle of Armor, so it's a lot of things that point in a very positive direction for this Crown Tundra DLC. I love to see happens over the next couple of weeks.

I do think that we still could very well get another trailer. I do think that it's very possible, that we're gonna get maybe some more rumors or potentially some leaks as we get closer. Because again, as I state at the beginning of this video, the likelihood that people have their hands on this, this DLC is going to increase exponentially as we get closer to the release, right? 'Cause again, it has to be translated, localization teams where they translate it.

It has to be in the hands of reviewers at some point in time. So, we're likely gonna get more information as we get closer. So, that's our breakdown of this Crown Tundra rumor. Again, some are claiming to have access to the Beta version of the Crown Tundra.

We don't know if this is real or not, but it was pretty interesting to breakdown, and I'm curious as to your thoughts in the comment section below. If you guys enjoy this types of videos, be sure to hit that Like button down below, and make sure you guys subscribe.
